Solar Eclipse 2017 - Making the Most of It

Image
An event is considered auspicious or inauspicious depending on whether it gives rise to holy union or incompletion. The most inauspicious experience can be reborn as sacred when illuminated by the light of Divine Self. According to ancient texts, our Sun represents Atma, the Divine Self. What in creation is not made by the hand of God? The Vedic idea of the eclipse is that the ascending node of the moon, Rahu, represented by the head of a dragon, is consuming the Sun and is therefore an eclipse is inauspicious. One is advised to fast, meditate, stay indoors, block the window, during the actual hours of the eclipse, and offer food and clothing to the poor before and afterward. Looking at the event energetically, this event feels quite chaotic. When I attend to the eclipse, I experience a deep desire for mental rest. It feels like an abstract longing for the sort of knocked-out rest that you get when the whole system is overwhelmed with fatigue or ill. On the surface of the min...

Getting to the Point: Why We Are Here

Image
. The purpose of energy healing is not to make a person into the Source of Creation. Rather the purpose is to provide a foundation for tangible fulfillment on all levels of life. Union of individual and Divine nature is a facet of this process, but is pointless if attained at the expense of individual personality, identity, or desire. The point is to layer Divine intention with individual passion in such a way as to allow both Divinity and individuality to resolve into each other. For example, imagine the process of creating a great work of art. The forces of nature spend eons creating a deposit of marble. The marble itself is the handy work of the Divine. It is complete, needing nothing but existence to be an expression of Divine beauty. However, it can't enter the museum as a finished piece without undergoing a relationship with the artist. It is only after the perfectly formed, natural marble has been touched by the creativity and technique of the artist, that is it elevat...

Locating and Disarming a Karmic Bomb Before it Blows

Karma means action which produces a reaction. The nature of human life is to work in this field of action and reaction. The process of working through karma leads to understanding, which ultimately neutralizing it. Illness is karma in some form or another. For the royal road in life, catch the karma before it emerges as the symptoms of illness or tragedy..   The nature of the spiritual path is to experience the growth and expansion of consciousness. When we organize our human life before birth, we decide on how far away we want our karma to be. As consciousness expands we "bump" into karmic loads. Then look out! That thing will come right into the heart of your world and create chaos, shaking life to its core. When consciousness is sufficiently expanded to provide the tools to deal with the challenge, then the task is easier. Exercising the ability to use those tools integrates and stabilizes the expanded state of Being. This process does not have to catch one off guar...

Reverence: the Key that Opens the Door to Eternal Wisdom

Image
The great celestial field which is the subtlest level of human manifestation sits quietly, until awareness activates it with a resonation of intention. This process of self-activating is the foundational first step to creating anything directly from consciousness. When awareness folds into the field of the celestial body, it can enhance the celestial body with any type of energy frequency or resonation of intelligence. There are infinite frequencies and combinations of energy which will resonate in the celestial body when awakened there. Each resonation provides a unique foundation upon which to define oneself in order to achieve a desired goal. Reverence is one of these resonations. This particular manifestation of consciousness is an extension of love, devotion, and respect. It is my experience that reverence is the key that opens the door to the Eternal Tradition of Wisdom. The aspect of creation which we think of as the Eternal Tradition of Wisdom is directly accessible to...
